1. Important Notice About Our Business
Secure Seniors Benefit is a website operated by BizProfitMinded LLC, a marketing and advertising company. We are not an insurance company, insurance agency, or insurance producer, and we do not issue or cancel policies. We connect people who want a quote with independent licensed insurance agents.
2. Cancelling During the Free Look Period
If you cancel during the free look period — usually the first 10 to 30 days, depending on your state — you are entitled to a full refund of the premiums you have paid.
3. Cancelling After the Free Look Period
You can still cancel at any time, for any reason. Your coverage ends on the cancellation date, and there is no cancellation penalty from Secure Seniors Benefit. Premiums already paid are generally not refunded after the free look period.
If your policy has accumulated cash value, you may have surrender options. Ask the carrier about these.
4. How to Cancel
- Call the carrier’s phone number printed on your policy documents, or
- Call the licensed insurance agent who sold you the policy.
Have your policy number ready. The carrier will confirm the cancellation date in writing.
5. What Happens Next
The carrier processes the cancellation and issues any refund you are owed under your policy and state law.
6. One Honest Note Before You Go
Before you cancel, ask the agent whether lowering your coverage or changing your plan fits better than dropping it. If it does not, you can cancel — there is no pressure from us either way.
